One of Inoplas’s customers provides advanced radiation detectors to government establishments, research facilities and nuclear power plants throughout the world.  This company is dedicated to making the world a healthier, cleaner & safer place.

The challenge

In 2003 this manufacturer found a serious problem in their supply chain, which caused them to identify and assess a number of accredited suppliers of mouldings, and related welding, printing and assembly services.

Identification of needs

Inoplas swiftly established that what they needed was a high quality two-part case in an ergonomic and rugged design, in a variety of colours. They needed to be confident of consistent production quality and timely deliveries.

Optimising quality and service

The manufacturer was so impressed by the moulded components and service provided by Inoplas that they asked us to mould and assemble further components. Four years on we mould thirteen different components used in their product, and assemble six constituent parts.

The case is moulded on an Arburg Allrounder. Our skilled workforce then assemble the constituent parts, sonic-weld, tampo print and audio test every unit in a dedicated area.
